Since 2004, Dr. Melhado has been practicing in the greater Wellington area and West Palm Beach. His Internship and Residency were both completed at Staten Island University in Staten Island, New York. His Cardiovascular Disease fellowship was performed at Saint Vincent’s Catholic Medical Center, New York Medical College. He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Diseases, Echocardiography, Nuclear Cardiology and Cardiovascular CT/CT Coronary Angiography. Dr. Melhado’s medical degree was obtained at the Universidad Salvadorena Alberto Masferrer in San Salvador, El Salvador. Dr. Melhado holds fellowships with the American College of Cardiology, American Society of Echocardiography. Dr. Mauricio sub-specializes in Coronary CTA, Echocardiography and Nuclear Cardiology.
